But in the long run the research I'm trying to compile may be very useful My collection is definitely not all encompassing and I'm relatively inexperienced still. My goal is to eventually restore the sound of every record in my collection and compile it with the rest of the data in my 78RPM catalog. However much of this music is undocumented at the current moment, and if it has made it into digital form it has come without a correct title or credits to performers, and its usually in horrible quality. I'm not a sound expert by any means, and collect more based on an interest in historical events rather than a fascination with sound. I promise you I am a legitimate researcher that collects and examines these materials from an apolitical viewpoint. In the past I've been kicked off forums simply because of the kind of music I collect, or people have refused to answer my questions. That being said the materials that I collect are a bit morbid and I'd like everyone to try and keep an open mind about them, as they're historically valuable and there's no reason to let them fade into history simply because they were created by monsters. Hello and thank you for accepting me into the forum.Ī short introduction, I'm a collector of WWII German propaganda recordings and while the bulk of my research is done purely out of interest, I do limited research work with a number of local museums and hopefully soon on the national level.
